All grab bars meet or exceed barrier free accessibility guidelines including the American Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) and Safety Rails in Hazardous Locations criteria when properly installed. The mounting flanges for all versions are made of stainless steel. When installing grab bars we use WingIts patented multi-arm waterproof fasteners that are ADA compliant and engineered to meet or exceed all ASTM, ANSI and CSA standards and building codes. These unique hollow wall fasteners utilize a double sided adhesive waterproof disc to ensure that water won’t get inside your walls.

Acrylic and fiberglass showers and bathtubs have taken the place of older style porcelain coated ones. Although these materials provide visually appealing high luster surface finishes, they are also very slippery. The surface can be dangerous when wet and the potential for slips and falls increases once soap and shampoo have been added.
Forget about self adhesive appliqués or manufacturers molded in tread designs. We searched all over and have found the answer in Italy; The CertainStep Bath Mat is the solution that provides you with the ultimate in gripping power combined with ease of lifting and cleaning.

- Both have a CSA approved anti siphoning feature built in – a useful feature for the elderly and those needing assistance.
- Pre-fitted with water restrictors (removable) for additional water conservation.
The water interrupt on both heads does not fully shut off the water supply; instead this feature allows a light trickle of water to serve as a visual reminder that the water is still on. This prevents people from inadvertently leaving their water taps on and having a back flow of hot water travel throughout the rest of the system.
Avoid an expensive mistake that could mean hundreds of dollars going down the drain as the hot water creeps into the cold water pipes with every toilet flush or tap being turned on. This simple feature is not found on all shut off style shower heads.

SwingClear hinges are a great way to gain an additional 2 inches (5.1 cm) of clearance through a doorway. This small amount of added room is often enough to allow a walker or wheelchair to get through. A cost effective alternative to changing doors and doorframes; just change the hinges! These hinges will fit most residential doors and generally use the same screw locations as your existing hinges. |
